Brooks PR Invitational - Ohio Entries

Lakota East's Dustin Horter is the D1 Ohio outdoor state champion in the 1600m event.

Three Ohio athletes will be among those participating at one of the premier meets on the high school outdoor track calendar.  Lakota East's Dustin Horter, Hilliard Davidson's India Johnson and Natalie Price of Granville High School will line up against exceptional fields in their respective races at the Brooks PR Invitational in Washington on Saturday.

Dustin Horter - Lakota East High School - 1 Mile

1600m P.R. - 4:07.52

Dustin Horter is undefeated in individual races during the 2017 outdoor season.

Lakota East's Dustin Horter will be competing against one of the strongest 1 Mile high school fields that's ever been assembled as everyone on the start list has a seed time of under 4:08.  Many experts believe that the elusive 4 minute barrier could be broken as, with a pacer in place, the pace is expected to be taken out hard from the onset.  In addition to Horter, this line-up includes several nationally recognizable names, such as:

Cooper Teare - St. Joseph Notre Dame (NC) - 4:00.16

Sam Worley - New Braunfels Canyon - 4:00.61

D.J. Principe - La Salle Academy - 4:00.73

Casey Clinger - American Fork - 4:04.87

Dustin Horter will compete against a stacked 1 Mile field at the Brooks PR Invitational.

India Johnson - Hilliard Davidson High School - 2 Mile

3200m P.R. - 10:23.84

Hilliard Davidson's India Johnson is the D1 Ohio outdoor state champion in the 3200m event.

Hilliard Davidson's India Johnson will close her exceptional high school career by competing against the country's best 2 Mile / 3200m runners.  In addition to Johnson, athletes to watch include:

Brie Oakley - Grandview High School - 9:56.06 (2 Mile - Indoor)

Claudia Lane - Malibu High School (SS) - 9:57.52 (3200m)

Rebecca Story - Christian Academy of Knoxville - 9:59.85 (3200m)

India Johnson will compete for the Michigan State Spartans next year.

Natalie Price - Granville High School - 400m

400m P.R. - 52.93

Granville's Natalie Price is the D1 Ohio outdoor state champion in the 400m event.

Granville's Natalie Price enters the 400m race with an outstanding time of 52.93 on her resume from the Division 1 Region 3 meet in May and she'll be joined by several athletes who have run under the 54 second barrier.  A sample of some of the strong competition that Price will face includes:

Kennedy Simon - Westlake - 52.94

Bailey Lear - Frisco Heritage - 53.02

Tierra Robinson-Jones - Bishop O'Dowd High School (NC) - 53.24

Natalie Price will compete for the Indiana Hoosiers next year.

MileSplit Ohio would like to wish the best of luck to Dustin Horter, India Johnson and Natalie Price in their upcoming races at the Brooks PR Invitational!
