Athlete: BRADY GRANT

Year: Senior, Class of 2018

School: Lake Travis High School

Analysis:  Cross Country is all about hard work and improving. That is exactly what Grant has done since his first season at Lake Travis. As a freshman, Grant was definitely a talent that the coaching staff could develop, but you have got to respect his career. All of the hard work saw him get a 15:21.25 PR and qualify for the UIL 6A state meet in his junior season. Grant also took the step of competing in post season meets. He ran at the NXN South Regional and the Foot Locker South Regional races and compete well.

Grant also had some nice improvements on the track. This season he PRed in the 1600m, 3200m with 4:26.28 and 9:16.03 marks. He also ran two of the hardest races on the track and PRed at two of the biggest and most competitive meets in the nation with his 6:06.33 steeple chase at Texas Relays and

15:14.50 5K at the Texas Distance Festival. Can Grant use his experiences and take the next step on the elite level ladder in his senior year?
