Jasmine Moore Opens Up Big At Arkansas HS Inv.

Mansfield Lake Ridge senior Jasmine Moore opened her season this weekend at the Arkansas High School Invitational

Moore had an awesome sophomore season that ended up with more state titles, class records, but also with a Bronze medal at the World Junior Pan American Games. 

She started her junior season with two big time jumps to get her warmed up for the season. Moore won the girls long jump with a 19-4.25 jump. That mark currently has her ranked #5 in the nation. She also produced a very good mark her premiere event, the triple jump. She then hopped for a U.S. #2 41-8.75 adding her second win of the meet.


Moore was recently awarded the TTFCA girl's 2017 Athlete of the Year for her performances and accomplishments throughout the season las year.

If the performances in Arkansas are any indication of the upcoming season, then she could b well on her way to another Athlete of the Year honor soon.
