Top District Sprint Races Of The Week


The second week of UIL district qualifying meets just competed. We all know Texas track and field fans will always have the need for speed.

We collected some of the top sprint race videos from this week. Check them out, to make sure you see some of the top Texas sprinters heading into the Area meets.

The district 19-6A boys 400m was a good race. It definitely had some studs in it and the times reflected it. Watch as Matthew Boling and Moyo Oyebamiji had a pretty good duel as Boling took the district title in 47.13.


The district 1-6A boys 100m finals was a mad dash to the finish line. Check this out from track level point of view.



The boys 200m at the 12-6A district had several of The Woodlands 200m runners in it. We know their 4x200 is powerful and they all go head to head with Conroe Oak Ridge runners.

District 23-6A definitely showed that they bring the speed on the boys side, but not so fast, don't forget the girls. The George Ranch girls shot out of the blocks all of the way to the finish line in a hurry.


As just stated, the 23-6A district brought the speed this week. Watch the blazing fast boys 100m.


The boys 23-6A 400m was also a fast race. Alief Taylor teammates Lavone Brown and Devin Williams are used to running together on relays and against each other in practice and individual races. This week, the pushes an intrasquad rivalry to some high heights as they sprinted to the line in a couple of fast 47s. 



Kailei Collins ran to a district double as she won both the 100m and 200m. Watch as she blazed down the track to out run the quality district field.


More 400m dazzling speed as the district 17-6A boys had a big time battle.


The 23-6A boys 200m was definitely one race many were looking forward to after seeing the preliminary race times. It did not disappoint. Check out as the guys kept the intrigue as they ran an entertaining finals race.
