Baez has been one of the top 3A runners for years and with the guys he has had to face, that hasn't been an easy thing to do. However, last year, he was able to pull of the UIL cross country title.
He will return for his senior year and a cross country title defense, but he could have extra motivation coming off of track season that didn't end as desirable as he might have liked for it to.
One thing is for sure, he is strong and he is fast and the top returner in 3A....that's kinda three things, but you get the picture about Baez' abilities.
