Woolsey is yet another member of the class of 2021 that took the season by storm last year. She was a part of the Centennial team that won a trophy at the UIL 5A state cross country meet. Team success wasn't the only success last cross season for Woolsey as she would go 17:59.70 at the state meet for a fourth place overall finish.
The track season gives good vibes for Woolsey's sophomore cross season as she showed that she also has a set of wheels on her. On the track, she ran 5:10.60, 11:30.78, and a 18:24.86 5K at the Texas Distance Festival.
There is no doubt her squad is looking to improve on their team finish and bring another trophy to their school and city, but look for Woolsey to take a step towards being elite.
