Peeples started out her high school career in TAAPS, but that was a long time ago. Now she is a senior and it doesn't matter TAPPS or UIL she is one of Texas' best.
She ran 17:40.60 really early at the Southlake Carroll Invitational for a PR in the first week of September. Right after that her cross country season seems to have had an early end as there were no more stats and no more sightings until track season.
The early end to cross seemed to have no affect on her track season as she came out hitting hard. Going 5:04.15 and 10:45.38 showed that Peeples is for real as did her 3200m fourth place finish at the UIL 6A state meet. Other than a pretty chill district 11:21, she busted all sub 11s in the 3200 all season long totaling eight of them.
Will Peeples reappear for this cross season and will she be as dominant as she was in track?
