Happy

The girls from happy made sure they didn't leave Austin with a frown. They ran their way to a state title on Friday. They were able to do so on the hinges of their strong relay running.

They won the 4x100 relay (50.42) and the 4x400 relay (4:03.67) to get them 40 points. They then added big points with their sixth place finish in the 4x200 (1:51.44). 

Emily Berry added point with a 6th place finish in the 200m (26.35), Rylee Johnson added 10 points  with a first place finish in the 400m (58.50), and Kenli Johnson's 3rd place finish in the 800m (2:25.45) rounded out their scoring.

1A Boys


Paducah

Paducah took the boys 1A team crown with some big individual and team performances. They scored on the hinges of Isaiah Maldonado and his stellar state meet. Maldonado won the 100m (11.24) and was also first in the Long Jump ( 21-0.75)
