The Atlanta girls took down a monster of a team in East Bernard as they dethroned them by only four points. 

Atlanta did it the UIL relay way by scoring 56 points in the sprint relays with firsts in the 4x100 and 4x200 and a fifth in the 4x400. Sheveonia Smith helped clinch the team title with her first place finish in the 300 hurdles with a time of 44.56 and adding an important 10 points.

Boys 


Dallas Life Oak Cliff won another state team title, but it wasn't easy. They made the most by hitting big in four scoring opportunities. They got 10 big points from seniors Elijah Simpson as he brought home the 200m state title and then Jermey King brought home 20 points with big first places in the 110 and 300 hurdle events.

They also got 16 points from their 4x100 with a second place finish.
