5A Girls
For the second straight year, Marble Falls' Bailey Goggans enforced her will on the UIL 5A girls field. This year she did so in a new classification record with her 2:07.35. She was followed by Maryn Demaio in 2:13.13 and Nissi Kabongo 2:16.08.
5A Boys
The race wen out very fast with a 53 split and as you like to see, the entire field was there. However, with a first lap like that, the rest of the race becomes a battle of sustainability. Cooper Newsome (1:53.23), Owen Likins (1:53.45), and Collin Williams (1:54.25) were able to hold it together enough to medal.
