2A Girls
This year's team finish could end up very similar to last year's as there are several returners on all four teams. If anyone could crack that top four it'll be Alvord and Goldtwaite.
Here are the girls top four team finishes:
1. Seymour
2. Sam Rayburn
3. Meridian
4. Valley ViewLast year's top two finishers Allison Hedrick and Sydney Reynolds are both back and will battle it out again. They'll get a push from Dakota Cassidy and Kylee Medina.
2A Boys
Valley View dominated the regional meet last year and they could improve on that performance this year. They could do something really special in a few days This could be the year Valley View gets back to the top of the state in 2A. They were third last year, but we will see an outstanding team performance on Monday. Seymour is good as well and they won't make it easy. They're running for a trophy spot at the state meet as well.
The real race will be between third through the fifth place teams. Poolville, Bland, and Union Grove will be putting in work to get the last two qualifying positions and the point difference could be minimal.

4. BlandThe boys individual race could be pretty good. Last year's champion Henry Fierro is back and will press the pace and lead. Bryan Landeros was third last year and will give Fierro a challenge and he could possibly win it all.
