Eva Jess - The El Paso Franklin junior is having an excellent finish to her 2019 cross country season. Jess ran undefeated all season long up until the state meet, where she finished runner-up and then third at NXR South. Jess is on fire!

Aubrey O'Connell - O'Connell knows how to race at a high level. She showed her moxy last year as a freshaman, but this year her patience and ability to show up at the right time of season and run well is the sign of an elite runner. O'Connell won the UIL 6A state title and was fourth last week at NXR South and helped lead her Prosper team back to NXN.

Gracie Morris - The last time Morris ran at McAlpine Park for Foot Locker South, that would be her last XC race for over a year. Morris has returned and picked up where she left off. In her first cross country season since that race two years ago, she has gone on to finish first in every race she ran this season except for her state meet runner-up finish.

Avery Clover - Clover is a running machine and she has performed that way all season long. With a win at Chile Pepper, third at state, and then a sixth at NXR South, Clover is a proven front runner. She will be in the mix this weekend for a qualifying position.

Kelsie Vicknair - The Boerne Champion senior won the Region 4-5A title and then led her team to the state championship with her fifth place finish at state. She finished 26th last week at NXR South, but she is looking for a better race than that this weekend.

Jenna Holland - Southlake Carroll is a very good team, but the reason is because they are made up of very good runners; One of those runners is Holland. With a second place finish at Chile Pepper, seventh at UIL 6A state meet, and 14th at NXR South, she could be making a push this weekend for an individual national championship push of her own.

Katherine McElaney - Soutlake Carroll doesn't just have one stud they have several and senior Katherine McElaney is another one capable of making noise this weekend at Foot Locker South. Like Holland, McElaney is having a strong senior season. She was ninth at the UIL 6A state meet and 22nd last weekend at NXR South.  She'll be competing at NXN next weekend, but for now, she will be running as an individual this weekend with plans of qualifying for Foot Locker South.
