Flashback Friday - 2015 Texas Relays Friday Highlight

The 2015 Texas Relays was one of the best high school track meets in a long time. The Florida vs Texas rivalry was kicked around the blocks again (Texas won) and it had the trash talk and the drama built made for TV.

That was just the sprint and relay part, but the distance relay events had the drama too. The Woodlands and Southlake Carroll boys were duking it out and the Marcus girls were going at it with Hebron and a host of others. Oh yeah, cross country powerhouse Great Oak came down to add some spice.

In the field events, there were loads of talent and top national talent with pole vaulters Brandon Bray and Mondo Duplantis. Distance runners Alex Rodgers and Carter Blunt were running for state supremacy as were Devin Clark and Maddie Reed.

Tonea Marshall, Alexis Duncan, and Samantha Gonzales were the girls hurdle studs and the boys had Norman Grimes and Amere Lattin.

If that wasn't enough action for you in one weekend, internet sensation Apollos Hester also had a big weekend with his speaking.

Check out the high lights, results, and interviews from one of the most classic Texas Relays ever.
