Felisa Sheib - Colleyville Heritage
The Colleyville Heritage rising senior had a very good junior cross country season as she helped lead her team to a very good season. Her 11th place UIL Region 1 XC Championships finish helped Heritage to a third place team finish and a state meet berth.
At state, Sheib had a superb race when she dropped a Top -10 performance, earning her a UIL 6A state meet medal.
In the spring, she was off to a good start going 5:19.62 and 11:28.57 in early season meets. As a senior, we could see Sheib improve on last year's individual performances and take the next step to becoming one of Texas' top runners.
