Taj Lee helped lead Johnson to a Region 4-6A championship and to the state meet. This year he will be the #1 runner and several of his teammates will also make noise in San Antonio.
The Greater San Antonio area is home to some very good cross country coaches and distance programs. It is no wonder some of the top runners and teams in Texas history have come from the area. Even some of last year's best teams hailed from the region.
