Camryn Dickson 'Wanted To Show I Really Belong Here'

Clear Brook junior sprinter Camryn Dickson is having an amazing 2021 track and field season. Dickson has been having one of the more solid sprint seasons of recent memory. She started the season with a 24.0 200m performance and continued her success in the event as she rattled off six sub 24 performances.

At the Region 3-6A Championships, Dickson showed that she is one of the favorites to medal heading into the state meet. "I really wanted to make a statement and show I really belong here," she said. That she did when she turned in a 11.41 (w) in the 100m and 23.29 in the 200m for two personal record performances.

Dickson is in peak fitness and could help make the UIL 6A sprint events can't miss type events.
