Boerne Champion middle distance senior Anastacia Gonzales also known as "Chachi" committed this weekend to the University of Arkansas.
She competed at the Chile Pepper Invitational that is hosted by Arkansas and they were able to pull a verbal commitment from her before she left the campus.
Gonzales is the 2021 UIL 5A 1,600m state champion and is currently trying to help her Boerne Champion Chargers squad to their third consecutive cross country team championship in November.
