A 48.00 flat was the fastest time coming into this race from the Regional meet by Waxahachie Life. Argyle on the outside got the first exchange but Texarkana Liberty-Eylau canceled that out with a great exchange on the second leg.
Liberty-Eylau and Waxahachie Life had a near even final exchange, while Stephensville's anchor leg came out of nowhere with an impressive finish.
Texarkana Liberty-Eylau finished in 1st place with a time of 47.17, Waxahachie Life improved their time and captured 2nd place with a time of 47.49, and Stephensville got the bronze with a time of 47.98.

Girls 4 X 200 relay
All teams were chasing the standard set by Kennedale last year with their 1:38.91.
Fresh off their 4x100 relay win, Liberty-Eylau had the lead after the first exchange, but Dallas Carter quickly corrected that before the second exchange. They would run with the lead along Argyle with heading into the final handoff.
The Cowgirls would come off the turn with the lead and held on for the win in 1:40.24 . Argyle kept pace and finished runner-up in 1:40.61 and Waxahachie Life duplicated their third place finish from last year with a time of 1:41.72.

Girls 4 X 400 relay
The top three finishers from last year's race were all back with Kennedale, Canyon, and Argyle. After the first exchange it was Kennedale in the lead followed by Canyon as the second legs ran.
At the halfway mark, it was Kennedale safely in the lead, but Fredericksburg had moved ahead of Canyon and that's how they ran on the third leg until Canyon pulled back into second.
On the Anchor, Canyon trailed by 10 meters in second with Fredericksburg behind by the same margin for third. Canyon made up ground on Kennedale on the backstretch and the race was on with 100n to go.
Canyon junior Abree Winfrey used her 800m champion and 300 meter hurdle runner-up combination of speed and strength to drop a monster carry on the anchor leg for a 3:56.05 to secure their team championship.
