This past weekend was not for the passive track and field fan or performer.

The New Balance Indoor Nationals and Nike Indoor Nationals were both going happening in the Northeast part of the country and outdoor track was beginning to feel like outdoor track should feel.

Those factors led to a blast of track and field performances by Texas girls that were almost unbelievable. The level of competition we saw from the ladies are rarely matched during the weekend of the state meet. There were four Texas top-5 all-time performances (indoor/outdoor record keeping) and two others that were top-20 all-time performances.

It's a hard job, but somebody has to do it, so it might as well be you. Vote for the performance that impressed you the most.
