21. Andrew Bachl (Jr.) Austin Westlake
Bachl found success in the 800m this year when he ran a 1:53.70 PR at the the TTFCA Meet of Champions. He also had a good end of the season run in the 1600m with his 4:23.
20. Colby Huntress (So.) Austin Anderson
Huntress had some positive runs last cross country season. He wasn't too far off from qualifying for the state cross country meet when he ran 16:32 at the Region 4-5A meet for 19th place.
He followed that up with a good showing on the track by going 1:58 and 4:30 in the middle distances.
19. Leo Spitzer (Sr.) Austin Anderson
Spitzer didn't run much in the cross country season, but he was a high 16. minute guy when he did.
He was solid on the track in his sophomore year, but as a junior, he ran a 1:53 PR in the 800m, 4:16 in the 1600m, and 9:38 in the 3200m.
18. Nick Dahl (Sr.) Marble Falls
Dahl ran high 16 minute 5Ks throughout the last cross country season. He finished 26th at the UIL 4A state meet.
He ran PRs on the track with his 2:00 and 4:36 runs in the 800m and 1600m.
17. Pierce Nowell (Sr.) Cedar Park Vista Ridge
Nowell got off to a hot start to the 2022 cross country season He ran 15:59 at Vista Ridge and 16:04 at the Marcus Coach T Invitational.
He found his rhythm again in the spring by running 1:58, 4:19, and 9:38, which were all personal bests.
16. Taylor Flowers (Sr.) Round Rock Stony Point
Flowers began the 2022 cross country season as hot as anyone. He ran 15:47 at Vista Ridge, and 15:56 at AISD. Unfortunately, he suffered an injury that ended his season in early September.
Flowers returned in the track season to run personal records in the 800m - the 3200m going 2:00, 4:23, and 9:41.
15. Victor Aviles (Jr.) Burnet
Aviles had a great track season ending just the way he would have liked; with a state championship in the 800m (1:53). He also ran personal records in the 1600m and the 3200m (4:31 and 9:39).
The state cross country meet saw him finish 22nd overall and he ran into the mid-16 minutes for 5K.
