Ryan Saam of San Antonio Reagan and Kristian Austin of Houston Westbury have signed letters-of-intent to attend Sam Houston State and participate in track and field for the Bearkats.

*Personal bests of 45.82-seconds in the 300m Hurdles (2009 UIL 4A Region III Championships, 12.06-seconds in the 100m Dash (2008 Border Olympics in Laredo), and 25.87 in the 200m Dash (2009 Rice Bayou Classic).

*Finished 2nd at the 2009 UIL State Track & Field Championships in the 4x100m Relay (46.46-seconds).

*Finished third in the 300m Hurdles at the 2009 UIL 4A Region III Championships (45.82-seconds).
