60H
Rebekah-Jhade Garrett - (Arizona) 8.5 in the prelims went even faster in the finals with a 8.44.
Naomi Booker (Tomball) - went 8.61 in the first round and improved to 8.54 in the finals for second.
60m
Mia Maxwell (Atascocita) and sister Mariah Maxwell (Atascocita) are twins and they almost ran identically impressive performances on Saturday.
Mia went 7.40 in the prelims and Mariah went 7.47 as the two carried the best two performances into the final along with Taylor Nunez (Randolph) who also turned in a 7.47.
Mia took the meet win by going 7.42 in the finals holding off Celeste Robinson (Cypress Ranch) who was second in 7.43, and Nunez third in 7.44.
Two-Mile
Addison Scott (Houston Memorial) won the girls two-mile with a 11:08 over former teammate Huntley Buckingham (Houston Episcopal) who was second in 11:15.
400m
200m
Skylar Brazzell (Northwest Nelson) won the girls 200m seeded section with the fastest time of the day of 23.26. That makes her US No. 5 all-time.
Skylar Cunningham (Greater Atlanta Christian) was second with a 23.72, Taylor Nunez (Randolph) was third in 23.85, and Mia Maxwell (Atascocita) added another sub 24-second run with a 23.90.
One-Mile
Eva Cragnolino (Austin LASA) came from behind to get the 4:59.06 win. She kicked to win narrowly edging out Payton Meineke- RiverdaleRidge (CO) 4:59.37, with Lily Fawcett (Bridgeland) third in 5:00.
Pole Vault
Kira Bowman (Royse City) won the event in 12-6
Brooklyn Nalley (Rockwall Heath) second in 12-6
Breeana Borresen (Katy Cinco Ranch) third in 12-0
Long Jump
Samantha Ennin (Plano John Paul II) won 20-3.50
Caitlyn Cavitt (Arlington Martin) second 19-10.25
Ashley Lister (Duncanville) third 19-9.50
Shot Put
Janey Campbell (Katy Seven Lakes) - 45-1 winning toss
Briana Davis - second in 43-11.25
Ainsley Bramer (Coppell) - third 43-10.50
High Jump
Coloradoan Bradie Menegatti - Pueblo West (CO) cleared 5-8.75 for the win. Savannah Byers (Humble Kingwood) and Nia Harrison (Greenhill) both cleared 5-7 for second and third place.
Triple Jump
Whitney Robinson (DeSoto) On her fifth round jump, Robinson had sealed the victory when she dropped a 40-7 jump, but it was her sixth jump that was the real bomb when she unloaded a 41-3.25
Taylor Kerns (Klein Oak) submitted two jumps over 40-feet with her 40-4 being her competition best.
Jordyn Barron, just a freshman was able to net a 39-5.75 jump for a third place finish.
Boys
60H
Jasiah Rivera (Kingsville King) led four boys under 8-seconds in the preliminary round with his 7.72. He then went bonkers for a 7.60 in the finals, ties him for the seventh best 60H performer of all-time.
Ja'Shaun Lloyd (Corsicana) wasn't too far behind with his 7.63 in the final sand is a top 15 all-time performer.
Ewan Curtis (Liberty Christian) went 7.72 to round out the top three in the finals.
A total of seven boys ran sub 8-seconds in the finals.
60m
Brayden Williams (Duncanville) was feeling good in the prelims when he dropped a 6.67 for the leading time heading into the finals.
He led a total of 23 boys to run under 7-seconds in the prelims along with Cordial Vann (Frisco Heritage) at 6.71, Tate Taylor (San Antonio Harlan) at 6.75, and Justin Stewart (Hurst Bell) at 6.79 all getting under 6.80.
In the finals, it was Taylor putting the best race together in the round as he ran 6.68 for the win. Williams was second in 6.69, Stewart was third in 6.73.
Fourth place finisher Dillon Mitchell (Fort Bend Marshall) ran 6.74 as a freshman. That is a new freshman class record, eclipsing the preview mark of 6.78 which was held by Jerald Watson (Central Catholic, Morgan City, LA) from 2001. Per World Athletics Hub, that ties him as the No. 15-year old ever in the World behind phenom Divine Iheme - 6.71.
Two-Mile
Three boys actually took the spectators on a 16-lap venture as Griffen Saacke (Bridgeland), Ruel Newberry (Denton Guyer), and Christian Castro-Cruz (Austin Vandegrift) showed their cross-country fitness has carried over.
the junior Saacke won in 9:08 just ahead of freshman Newberry who was second in 9:09, and Castro-Cruz was third in 9:11.
400m
Jonathan Simms (Allen) is back to full strength and health after ending his 2024 season in April due to injury. He ran a US No. 7 all-time performance of 46.35 to win the meet.
Juniors Abram Reagan (Austin Lake Travis) was second in 48.0 and Charvis Tubbs (Humble) was third in 48.13.
800m
Luke Bone (Austin High) ran a fantastic race; he pulled away to win in 1:52 finishing ahead of runner-up Evan Martin (Rockwall Heath) 1:54, and third place finisher Colby Huntress (Austin Anderson) who chimed in with a 1:55.
200m
Justin Stewart (Hurst Bell) won the meet and ties the US No. 11 all-time run with his 20.94 performance. Christian Witcher (Conroe Grand Oaks) was second with a 21.46, and Abraham Olufemi-Dada (Cypress Lakes) was third in 21.48.
One-Mile
Benjamin Montgomery (Bridgeland) made a mid race move that was unmatched by the rest of the field; He finished with a time of 4:15. Luke Anderson (Salado) was able to edge out Ja'Juan Allison Humble Summer Creek) for second in 4:19.72 to 4:19.90.
Pole Vault
Maximus Garvin (Garrison) and Ben Haywood (Tomball Memorial) were in a battle of bars as they both cleared the 16-0 bar. Garvin got the win with Haywood taking second.
Robert Max Austin (Katy Seven Lakes) was third clearing 15-6.75.
Long Jump
Bradley Lowman (Stafford) won with a jump of 24-0.25
Jackson Norris (Humble Atascocita) second best jump 23-6
Angel Rodriguez - 22-10.50
Boys Shot Put
CJ Williams - The only competitor to throw over 60-feet. He won with a 64-8.75 toss.
Kyen Purser (Midlothian) - runner up with a 59-0 throw
Adam Carter (Katy) - third with a throw of 57-1
High Jump
Micah Lockett (Nacogdoches) and Brody Garcia (Corpus Christi Veterans Memorial) both cleared 6-8 and Nathan Black (Klein Oak) was third with a clearance of 6-6.
Triple Jump
Cameron Phillips (Humble Summer Creek) had a competition best leap of 48-5.50 jump to win the competition.
O'Hara Tommie Jr. (FL) - The Floridian was second with a 47-2.50
Kahdyn Freeman (Comal Pieper) - Captured the third place spot with a 46-9.50 jump.
