Texas Boys Performer Of The Week (Jan 20-26)

Katy Mayde Creek senior and Texas Tech track and field commit Elijah Ferguson won last week's Texas Boys POW poll. He won one of the most participated in poll in several years. over 22K votes were casted and Ferguson received 7.050 for almost 32% of the overall vote.

Ferguson was included in the poll thanks to his 46.38 run at the Carl Lewis Invitational to win the 400m event. He also added a 47.04 in the preliminary round.

In the poll, it was Griffin Hummel finished second in the poll with 5,824 votes received and Colby Huntress added a 5,195 vote total in the historic poll.
