The track and field season is now starting to move from more non-traditional and relay meets to the traditional track and field meets in much of the state now that we are in March. There aren't a lot result in the relays and all of the individual events, but it is building.
That gives us some data to begin to look at who the top overall teams are and the ones who look to be potential challengers for the UIL State Track and Field Championship awards podium. So, you know we had to do it.
The scoring we are using isn't the same as the UIL, but we have gone 20-deep to give more of a window to compare the potential matchups and challengers their quality and depth. It is an imperfect and not exact, but it is a frame that will see the picture get clearer as the upcoming weeks pass by.
