Caitlyn Cavitt (Arlington Martin) is the Texas Girls POW for the week of March 3-9. She earned over 60% of the total vote with an extremely high total of 15,408 votes. A win at the Texas A&M Bluebonnet long jump competition earned her a position in the poll. She achieved the win in College Station by going for a meet record and TX outdoor No. 1 jump of 20-3.50.

Cavitt also had to beat stiff competition in the poll. Natalie Murray (Hudson) was another extremely high vote getter by receiving 9,051 votes for the second most. Gloria Granderson (Prosper) had the third most votes with 675.

Sophia Phillip (Magnolia) - Ran 11:11 to win the 3,200m at the CCISD Ruben C Jordan Relays

Kailyn Head (Denton Ryan) - Ran 13.85 (+2.2) in the 100H and 42.12 in the 300H to win the McKinney North Bulldog Relays

Mia Maxwell (Humble Atascocita) - Won the Nike Indoor Nationals triple jump competition with at 41-11.50; was third in the 200m (23.27) and fourth in the 60m (7.30).

Samantha Ennin (Plano John Paul II) - Won the New Balance Indoor long jump with a 20-7.75 and was second in the triple jump with a 41-10.50

Courtney Daniel (Humble Kingwood Park) - Won the New Balance Indoor shot put with a 48-2.50

Jaicee Jasmer (Sulphur Springs) - Was second in the Nike Indoor pole vault with a clearance of 14-0
