District Championships are here.
That means early this week are prelims for many sprint and relay events for some districts and distance and field event finals are going on.

*Two top two US national ranked performances came from one district meet. Adam Carter (Katy) is coming off a big two-days production at the Texas Relays and followed it up with a new US No. 1 shot put performance and huge 68-10.50 toss. Etoro Bassey (Katy Tompkins) jumped another US No. 2 high jump clearance with a 7-2 jump. There has been no shaking Bassey from the top of the rankings as he continues the get higher and higher.

Ryder Darcey (Katy) - 9:20.22 to win the varsity boys 3,200m at the UIL 6A - District 19
AJ Jenkins (Katy Mayde Creek) - 48-5.25 to win the triple jump at the UIL 6A - District 19
Etoro Bassey (Katy Tompkins) - 7-2 high jump to win the district title at UIL 6A - District 19
