2025 UIL 4A Girls 110-Meter Hurdles
The race promised to be a good one with three girls coming in having run faster than 14-seconds in the last month. Heading into the final hurdle Chiora Enyinna-Okeigbo (Sunnyvale) held a slim lead over both Eleanor Kazanjian (Kingsville King) and the reigning two-time State Champion Kalani Lawson (Fort Worth Dunbar). Enyinna-Okeigbo and Kazanjian were clean over the final hurdle, but Lawson hit and fell ending her chances at a third title.
At the line, Enyinna-Okeigbo was able to hold off Kazanjian for the win. The duo ran 13.42 and 13.49, respectively. Both runners would have easily broke Lawson's State Meet record from 2024, but they were over the allowable +2.0 m/s.
Janey Baker (China Spring) had to settle for third place despite also running faster than the State Meet record with her time of 13.79.
