Brooke Lloyd won the2025 Nike Indoor 400m National Championships in a Texas indoor state record of 52.96

The girls' 400m delivered a sensational indoor campaign in 2025, and the event appears poised for an even more impressive year ahead--two of Texas' all-time indoor greats, Brooke Lloyd and Ashtyn Lewisreturn after posting historic marks last season. Lloyd's 53.45 and Lewis' 53.96 now stand as the No. 5 and No. 6 all-time indoor performances in state history, and both seniors enter 2026 with the potential to climb even higher on that list. In fact, Lloyd ended the indoor season in March with a faster mark (missing from the table below), a performance that now places her as the fastest Texas girl ever in the indoor season.
