ASU set for Noble Relays

The Angelo State track & field teams will host the 38th Annual ASU/David Noble Relays this week at the LeGrand Sports Complex. This year's event is scheduled for Apr. 8-10. The multi-events will take place Thursday and Friday with the open meet taking place Saturday.

The heptathlon opens at 1:30 p.m. Thursday with the decathlon starting at 2:30 p.m. Both events continue through Friday. Preliminary running events and field events begin at 12:30 p.m. Saturday. Running finals are set to begin 5:10 p.m. A complete Saturday schedule is located below. Admission is free.

The annual relays are named for long-time ASU men's and women's track & field head coach David Noble. Noble led the Rams from 1972-82 and 1985-99 and guided the Rambelles from 1994-99.  The event was officially named after Coach Noble in 2001.
