This Week's Nominees:
Cadyn Key, Katy (Texas): Won the 110m hurdles at the Panther Relays with a time of 13.49, finishing first in a field of 9 competitors.
Omar Mendoza, Chinquapin Prep (Texas): Clocked 10.25 to win the 100m at the Mustang Invitational #2, a massive PR breaking his previous best of 12.87 set last April. The #1 junior (all times) in Texas in the 100m posted the top time of the week among 593 competitors.
Garrett O'Bryan, CC Flour Bluff (Texas): Swept both throwing events at the Toast of the Coast Relays, winning the discus with a mark of 189-4 and taking shot put at 51-4.5.
Justin Bordelon, Liberty Hill High School (Texas): Put up a winning throw of 61-8.75 in the shot put at the New Braunfels Unicorn Invitational and added a runner-up finish in the discus at 154-4. The top-ranked junior thrower in Texas leads the state in both shot put and discus.
Christian Witcher, Conroe Grand Oaks (Texas): Ran 20.82 to capture the 200m at the TCU HS Invitational, improving from his previous PR of 21.09 set in February and leading a field of 59 sprinters.
