Future Stars: Four Texas Sophomores Finding New Gears

Sophomores Stepping Up to Start the Season

Woitena, Minaar, Olschewsky, and Sadler are all pushing their marks to new levels

The 2026 outdoor season (the weather, too) is heating up in Texas and four sophomores have already made their presence felt on the state leaderboards. Teegan Woitena is clearing heights in the pole vault he has never touched before. Ruan Minaar has dropped time in the 110m hurdles at nearly every meet he has entered. Morgan Olschewsky has been winning hurdle races and posting PRs across three events. Saniah Sadler ran her fastest 100m and 200m of her career on the same day last week. All four are Class of 2028 athletes, and all four are trending in the same direction.
