This Week's Nominees:
Reece Guenther, Wink (Texas): Won the 3200 meters in 8:43.37 at UIL 2A - District 06 JH, posting a new personal record in the process.
CJ Williams, Frisco Heritage (Texas): Posted personal records in both throws at the Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays, winning the shot put with 69-2.25 and the discus with 202-9.25. The shot put broke his PR of 66-3.25 set at last May's state meet, while the discus improved from his previous best of 201-4.
Andrew Jones, Klein Collins (Texas): Swept both hurdles events at the Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays, clocking 12.97 in the 110 hurdles and 35.61 in the 300 hurdles. The 110-meter broke his personal record of 13.01 set last March.
Dillon Mitchell, Sheldon King (Texas): Blazed to a 10.10 victory in the 100 meters at the Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays, making him the top sophomore in Texas this season.
Jackson Kerth, Kerrville Tivy (Texas): Threw a personal record 188-1.75 for second place in the discus at the Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays, improving from his previous best of 177-10 set last March. The junior also placed fourth in the shot put with 61-0.25 and ranks as the state's top junior in the discus.
