This Week's Nominees:
Brix Machen, Hereford (Texas): Cleared 6-10 for second place at the West Texas A&M Regional Qualifiers, establishing himself as the #1 junior in the state in the High Jump.
Sean Stanaland, Jayton (Texas): Won the 400 at the Post Regional Qualifiers Meet with a time of 47.93, taking the victory in a field of 11 competitors.
Jaxon Lawler, Bushland (Texas): Put up a winning throw of 58-2.5 in the shot put at the West Texas A&M Regional Qualifiers. He also won the discus with a mark of 165-10 at the UIL 3A - Area 01 & 02 meet, beating state leader Peytan Moyers who threw 163-2.
Jaden Walker, Childress (Texas): Clocked 10.61 to win the 100 meters at the UIL 3A - Area 01 & 02 meet, crossing the line first in a seven-man field.
Peytan Moyers, Idalou (Texas): Threw 172-7 to win the discus at the Post Regional Qualifiers Meet, taking first place in a compact field of four throwers.
