Senior, Desmond Jackson finished third in the 2010 finals in both the 60 meters and 200 meters will be in search of his first top finish at the National Championships. The Midland native enters the Championships as the No. 2 in the 200 meters and No. 3 in the 60 meters. Jackson's time of 21.26 is just 0.17 second behind Massachusetts-Lowell's Evan White in the 200 meters while he is just 0.12 seconds behind Kimour Bruce of Lincoln (Mo.) The other three men at the Albuquerque Convention Center have a combined total of six National Championships between them.
Senior Amos Sang won two titles in the 10,000 and 5,000 last year at the Outdoor Championships. Sang is currently the No. 1 time in the 5,000 after finishing third at the Indoor Championships last year. He is also No. 3 in the mile behind Adams State's Craig Huffer.
Nick Jones returned to the ACU track and field team after sitting out last season and competed for the United States at the NACAC under-23 Track and Field Championships during the summer. Jones was the two-time defending champion in the outdoor discus and enters this year's indoor championships at No. 7.
Also running at the National Championships is the defending indoor champ in the triple jump, Ramon Sparks.  Sparks also won an outdoor title in the triple jump in 2009.
The lone qualifier for the ACU women is Amanda Ouedraogo a sophomore from Hauts de Seine, France. She will enter the triple jump as the No. 3 seed.
