ABILENE – The ACU Wildcats have added a home meet to their 2011 track and field schedule, the only time the Wildcats will run at home this season.
The Last Chance Twilight Meet will be Thursday, May 12, at Elmer Gray Stadium, and will represent the last chance most NCAA athletes will have to qualify for their respective regional or national championship meets.
The NCAA Division II national championship meet will be May 26-28 in Turlock, Calif., and the list of qualifiers will be released May 17.
The meet will get started at noon with the men's and women's pole vault. Running events will start at 2 p.m. with preliminaries in the 100 meters, 100 meter hurdles, 110 meter hurdles and 200 meters.
Running event finals will start at 6 p.m. and will continue on a rolling schedule.
