Austin St Stephens' Crayton Carrozza (#11) leads the boys top 5K runners in both the 400m and 800m PRs. He just might be one of the guys you want to shake before it gets too late in a race. That might be easier said than done because the guy can run 15:25.60 in the 5K.

When it comes down to making one final move this fall on grass, who's going to have the kick to surge ahead?

We've looked at the best open 400m and 800m splits of the Texas top returners in the 5K heading into the 2018 cross country season to determine what we may see out there on grass, dirt, trails and everything else. Keep in mind, our statistics are based on times we have in our system and the lists are calculated based on current times from the past season.
