2016 McNeil Inv. Girls Gold Race
The 2018 McNeil Invitational is scheduled to resume this weekend after last season's hiatus due to course conditions from the rain.
This week has rain in the forecast once again for the Round Rock area, but currently, the show is still scheduled to go on.
As usual, the meet attracts some of the best individuals and teams in the state as most are looking to get an early run on the the course that has some of the same UIL state meet paths. Holding true to the norm, this year will be just as exciting and will present a welcomed return of one of the best meets in all of Texas, should it actually happen. There is nothing more that the Texas XC season needs right now than a collection of the best cross athletes and teams in the state to compete together in a good and fair race on a course that is has no weather effects.
