Great 3200m races this morning highlighted by a great race in the girls 4a race that resulted in a new state record. Pre-meet favorite Cali Roper (SR) Willis did not disappoint with a 10:35.19 setting a new record. The previous record was held by UT Grad Betsy Jimenez set in 2006 (10:37.34). Dallas Highland Park runner Natalie Rathjen did not go down easy also dipping under the prevoius state record running 10:37.08 good enough for second place.
