Meet Information

We would like to invite you to attend the Run the Ridge Cross Country Invitational. The meet will be held on Saturday, August 24, 2013 at Cypress-Ridge High School. Please find more information about our meet below.

Schedule:
Coaches meeting will start at 7:15 am. The first race will start at 8:00am and all other races will be on a rolling schedule in the following order.

Varsity Girls Elite (3200 meters) 10 runners
Varsity Boys Elite (3200 meters) 10 runners
Varsity Girls (3200 meters) 10 runners
Varsity Boys (3200 meters) 10 runners
JV Girls (3200 meters) unlimited
JV Boys (3200 meters) unlimited
Freshman Boys (3200 meters) unlimited
Team Awards Ceremonies

Awards & Results:
Individual awards will be given to the top 20 places for each race, Plaques for Team Champion, and Runner up in Varsity Divisions, and Team Champion in Sub Varsity Divisions. Results will be done using RaceTab Software, and will be emailed out, and posted on line after the meet.

Entry Fee:
The race fee is $75.00 per Team (Ex: $75 for all boys teams, and $75 for all girls teams = $150 for entire school). Make checks payable to Cy-Ridge High School. You may pay cash the day of the race or mail your payment (check) to: Cypress Ridge High School, Attn: Mike Long, 7900 N. Eldridge Pkwy., Houston, TX 77041.

Registration:
Email confirmation that you plan to attend to michael.long@cfisd.net or miranda.bussey@cfisd.net. All entries will be submitted through txrunning.com. Go to the 2013 XC Calendar and hit the online registration button under our meet (http://tx.milesplit.com/calendar/2013/cc/noduals/all) . All entries must be submitted by Thursday Aug. 22nd (http://tx.milesplit.com/pages/Online_Meet_Reg_Instructions).

We apologize, but we are not able to accept private school entries this year due to district policy, but all classification of UIL schools are welcome to attend. We ask that the more competitive schools register for the "Elite" divisions so that all teams entered can get into a good race for their team.
