Date: Thursday, October 6th, 2016
Location: Abe Martin Stadium on our High School Campus
Entry Fee: $75 per team (per division & per gender), or $225 (maximum) per school, or $15 per individual. Please make checks payable to Lufkin Cross Country and bring them with you On Race Day.
Awards: Boys & Girls Team Champion & Runner-Up will be given at the conclusion of the meet. 1-15 Individual Awards for all Divisions will be given at the finish line.
Divisions:
Division I -5A & 6A Boys & Girls
Division II -1A & 4A Boys & Girls
JV Division -Boys & Girls (may enter unlimited #, top 5 score)
Jr. High Division -Boys &Girls (exhibition race, not scored, do NOT send in names)
Distances:
JV & Varsity Boys & 5A-6A Varsity Girls: 5K
JV Girls & 1A-4A Varsity Girls: 2 miles
Jr. High Boys & Girls 1.5 miles
Time Schedule:
3:30pm Jr. High Girls 1.5 miles
3:50pm Jr. High Boys 1.5 miles
4:05pm 1A-6A JV Girls 2 miles
4:30pm 1A-6A JV Boys 5K
4:55pm 1A-4A Varsity Girls 2 miles
5:15pm 1A-4A Varsity Boys 5K
5:40pm 5A-6A Varsity Girls 5K
6:05pm 5A-6A Varsity Boys 5K
****LHS students are released from school at 3:45, outgoing traffic is heavy from 3:45-4:15, please plan accordingly
Entries: Please email a list of your runners to jboyd@lufkinisd.org or fax to (936) 634-1091, no later than Friday, October 2nd. You do NOT need to designate which division (varsity or jv) each runner will race in, but it is imperative that you list all POTENTIAL runners. Scratches can be made the day of the race, but no additions will be allowed.
