Dear Coaches,
The Ponder High School Athletic Department would like to invite your high school and junior high cross-country teams to our Cross Country
Meet on Wednesday, October 5, 2016.
Race Site:Ponder High School
Course: The course is a mixture of grass and dirt. The course is mostly flat and spectator friendly. We will have water available for the runners upon completion of each race. The time schedule will be:
Race Times:
This will be a rolling schedule
3:40 p.m. Elementary Fun-Run 1 mile ($5.00/runner)
4:00 p.m. Varsity Girls 2 miles
Junior Varsity Girls 2 miles
Varsity Boys 3 miles
Junior Varsity Boys 3 miles
JH Girls 2 miles
JH Boys 2 miles
Awards:
Medals will be given to the top 15 individuals in each race. First place trophies will be given in each division. Each participant in the Elementary Fun Run will receive a participation medal.
We invite all elementary runners from visiting schools to participate.
Entry fee:
$50.00 per team Maximum of $175.00 per school Individuals will be $10.00 each. Varsity division will have a maximum of 7 runners per team. Junior Varsity and Junior High teams may have an unlimited number of entries.
