Dear Coaches:
Fredericksburg will host the 52 nd Annual Carlin Wicker Fredericksburg Relays on
Thursday March 29 th , 2018. We will be accepting 6-7 teams for the meet from the second
page response letter. The meet will be organized by UIL/NFHS Rules. We already have
verbal confirmed teams (Fredericksburg/Kerrville/Rocksprings/Boerne Geneva) with 2
spots open.
The 3200m/Field Events will begin at 2:30pm and the running finals will be after the
conclusion of the field events on a rolling schedule. We plan to use Hy-Teks computer
scoring and seed heating along with FAT timing. All entries will be submitted ONLINE at
Athletic.net. I will send the entry instructions and the schedule of events to the confirmed
teams at a later date.
The entry fee will be $475.00 per school (includes all 4 divisions) or $150 per division
entered if it is not a full school. Schools entering all 4 divisions will take priority for
confirmed teams. Please make checks payable to Fredericksburg ISD. All checks should
be sent directly to Fredericksburg ISD, Attention: Steve Jacoby, 234 Friendship Lane,
Fredericksburg, Texas 78624. It is preferred all entry fees are mailed and received prior to
March 24 th . If bringing entry fees the day of the meet, please notify us.
The Fredericksburg Athletic Billie Boosters will be offering student lunch deals ($6-7) at
our concession stand for athletes. We will be providing this meal deal for coaches and
workers during the meet. Please indicate how many track coaches you will have attending
on your confirmation sheet.
We will award custom colored medals for the top 3 finishers in each event and award a
championship plaque to the overall team in each division. Medals and results will be
available for pick-up at the completion of the meet.
