Golden Eagle Run

Date: Saturday, October 5th 2019

Location: Fairfield Cross-Course located behind the Fairfield ISD Baseball/Softball Complex

Course Description: The cross-country course winds through a wooded area and has several low-water crossings. It is a grass/sand rolling terrain. 100% spike friendly. JH, JVG, and VG will run 3200m loop. JVB and VB will run girls loop plus a short loop to equal to 3 miles. Our course hosts two separate district meets every year and has been featured on High School Xtra.

Entry Deadline: Wednesday, October 2nd @ 5pm

Entry Fee: $70 per team entered (maximum $250 per school). $15 for individuals not part of a team.

9 athletes per school will be allowed to compete in the varsity division. There is an unlimited number of entries for JH and JV divisions.

Entry Procedure: Athletes will be entered using a spreadsheet attached to an email sent closer to the meet date.

Race Times: Rolling Start at 8:30AM in the order of: VG, VB, JVG, JVB, JHG, JHB.

Packet Pickup: Packets can be picked-up Saturday morning starting at 7:00AM. Packets will be located in the concession stand in the center of the baseball/softball complex.

Numbers: Numbers and pins can be found in each packet. Each number will be assigned to a specific athlete. Please be sure that each athletes number is visible on the front of their uniform. We are not responsible if the wrong name is pinned on the wrong athlete.

Team Awards: Varsity Division ~ Golden Eagle trophies will be awarded to the 1st place team and 2nd place will receive a plaque.

JV Division ~ Plaques will be awarded to 1st and 2nd place.

Junior High ~ Plaques will be awarded to 1st, 2nd place, and 3rd place

Individual Awards: Medals will be awarded to the top 15 finishers in each race.

Results: Final Results will be posted at the packet pickup location (concession stand) and emailed.

Please email me to let me know if you plan on coming and what divisions you are bringing, so I can add you to the list and send out the entry information in the fall. I will send a 2nd email with information on registering.
