Kaufman Run with the Lions Invitational
*Saturday, August 31st 2019
Race Site: Kaufman Sports Complex
The park is located just about 1 mile north of Kaufman on Hwy. 34 on the left.
Course:
5K for all High School Boys and 6A-5A Girls. 2 miles for the 4A-Under girls and junior high divisions. The course is flat and grassy. This is a loop course, 3 loops for the 5k and 2 for the 2 mile course. It is nice and open, the spectators will be able to see the runners the entire race.
Parking and Concession:
We will have the buses park together in a section on the grass, after you drive through the concrete parking lot. Well reserve the concrete parking lot for the spectators. This will help keep the buses separate for the car traffic.
There will be a concession stand with drinks and snacks. Kona Ice will be there selling snow cones Also, water and our athletic trainers will be provided at the finish line.

7:30 am 6A-5A-Varsity Girls (5K)
8:00 am 6A-5A-Varsity Boys (5K)
8:30 am 4A and Under Varsity Girls (2 Miles)
8:50 am 4A and Under Varsity Boys (5K)
9:15 am All-JV Girls (2 mIles)
9:35 am All-JV Boys (5K)
10:00am All-Junior High Girls (2 miles)
10:25am All-Junior High Boys (2 miles)
Awards:
Individuals finishing in the top 10 will receive a medal at the *finish line*
Trophies/Plaques awarded to the top 2 teams in Varsity and JV divisions and top team in the junior high divisions.
Timing/Entries:
We will use athletic.net to enter your athletes. Dead line for entries is August 29th at 5pm. We will have Cowtown Timing doing the results this year.
Team Limit: We will limit each division to the first 20 schools that accept the invitation
Fees:
$100 for each team $20 per individual
Maximum fee $400
