Elk Run XX in 2020
YOU ARE INVITED TO ATTEND THE 19TH ANNUAL ELK RUN IN BURLESON, TEXAS.
DATE: FRIDAY, August 28th
SITE: CHISENHALL PARK (On Hidden Creek Parkway)
COURSE: GRASS, TRAILS AND SOME SIDEWALK
CHECK-IN: 6:00 am- 8:00 am
AWARDS: A PLAQUE TO THE TOP TEAM IN EACH DIVISION
MEDALS TO THE TOP 20 INDIVIDUALS IN EACH RACE
(Even though the divisions may run together we will separate
the results into divisions for team titles.)

deadline is noon. Wednesday, August 26, 2020.

***THIS YEAR WE ARE ALLOWING TEN RUNNERS PER VARSITY TEAM. We are trying to make the JV
races smaller. WE WILL NOT ACCEPT WALK UP TEAMS THE DAY OF THE RACE.

5A and 6A Varsity Girls 5K
5A and 6A JV Girls 5K
6A Varsity Boys 5K
6A JV Boys 5K
4A and Under Boys 5K (JV and Varsity)
4A and Under Girls Race 2 miles (JV and Varsity)
We are running one women's 3200m race. You can run an unlimited number in this race
with JV and Varsity together. If you are a small school that runs the 3200 normally, you are welcome to run the 5K.
We will have a team trophy for varsity only.
WE WILL HAVE HOSPITALITY FOR COACHES, MEDICAL TENT, CONCESSIONS, AND T-SHIRTS FOR SALE.
COWTOWN SPORTS WILL BE DOING THE ON SITE RESULTS.

FEES: $75.00 per Team (ex. boys varsity-$75 boys jv -$75=$150)
Women's teams running the 3200 will only count as one team even if JV and Varsity run together.
$15 for each INDIVIDUAL if less than five on a team.

Course maps will be available on race day. Chisenhall Park is 1 mile west of I-35W on Hidden Creek Parkway or 1 mile east of HWY 174 on Hidden Creek Parkway (Turn east at Walmart).
