Southlake Carroll"s coach Leonard heads one of the perennial top teams state wide as well as nation wide.
Last weekend, the Carroll Dragons placed second in the boys UIL 6A state meet and the girls finished with the third place trophy. That capped of an amazing five year run, in which the program has won three state titles, five runner-up trophies, and a third place trophy.
No other school in the nation has qualified both the girls and boys programs for the Nike Cross Nationals (NXN) as many times as Southlake Carroll. This upcoming weekend, they will once again be looking to qualify both squads for NXN.
