Six Rambelles and three Rams were recognized Monday as the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) announced it 2009 All-Academic Track & Field Team for NCAA Division II.

Junior Kristene Crockett, junior Brittney Heath, sophomore Sara Hooker, senior Kyndel Howell, juniro Andria Nussey and freshman Cathryn Rittenberry were honored on the women's team.  On the men's side, sophomores Wade Goode and Brian Holik and senior Chad Schaertl were recognized.

To be eligible for this award, a student-athlete must have compiled a cumulative grade pointa average of 3.25 and have met the NCAA D-II Indoo or Outdoor automatic or provisional qualifying standard in their respective event.
