Matthew Murray finished 58th at the state meet last year covering the course in 16:37. His PR of 15:31 came from his Region 3 meet when he finished 5th. On the track the senior has ran 4:21 in the 1600m which he ran to place 18th at the Texas Relays. Murray's fast 3200m time was from the Pearland Dawson Relays where he ran 9:28 to win.
