Runners usually don’t develop into sprinters. Speed is often a gift that comes unwrapped at a young age. Aldrich Bailey, a senior at Mansfield Timberview in Arlington, Texas, has that gift. He made that known the summer after finishing the fifth grade when the young speedster blazed through 200 meters in about 25 seconds.

Aldrich Bailey continued his impressive indoor season with the 60m and 200m titles are the Arkansas HS Invitational on Saturday.
Aldrich won the 60 in a season best 8.64 than came back and blazed the 200m in 20.99. Aldrich is a senior at Mansfield Timberview
and is the defending 400m state champion.

Hot Sprint Double For Texas Prep Aldrich Bailey
Senior Aldrich Bailey (Timberview, Arlington, Texas) had quite an afternoon at the Texas A&M Classic on Saturday.
First came the 400, where he ran 47.05 to move to No. 6 on the all-time high school indoor list.
He followed that with a 21.14 that boosted him to =No. 6 ever.
State champ Bailey was T&FN's No. 3 All-America in the 400 last year, running 46.53. And he ran the 200 in 21.09.

HOW DO I ADD MY MEET TO CALENDAR?

I SEE MY MEET ON THE CALENDAR BUT HOW DO I ADD MEET INFORMATION?
First make sure you are a team admin. Once you are a team admin just click on the meet and it will take you to the meet page. Once you are on meet page simply click the black button labeled MEET MANAGER on the right hand side of the screen. Once in the MEET MANAGER page you can add teams attending, meet schedules, contact information, meet information, change dates, venue, and even add a URL if you have your own meet page
HOW DO I BECOME TEAM ADMIN?
Search for your HS in the search box. Once you find it click it. It will take you to the team meet page. Once on their simply click on team admin on the right hand side of page. Put in the information requested and wait to be approved.
DOES TXRUNNING HAVE ONLINE MEET REGISTRATION AVAILABLE?
Yes we offer a great system that is less than other major compaines and it is tied into our database which guarantees your meet results will be in our ranking system.

Round Rock � Strake Jesuit finished second in the Class 5A Boys Cross Country State meet on Saturday at Old Settlers Park Crusaders coach Mike Kerley was proud of the way his young team prepared to get to this point. Despite its youth, the Crusaders trained in the offseason with the expectation of getting to the state finals. The Mustangs finished fourth in the overall standings, and coach Steve Haffbelber expected his veteran squad to finish strong this season. The junior will look to repeat his performance next season, and eclipsing the personal record will drive Teel through offseason training. Northlakes Park, Denton - #1 Ranked Southlake Carroll impressed putting 5 in the top in the top 8 overall averaging 15:28.98. Joe Sansone led the dragons placing 3rd overall running 15:11.90. Sansone got out fast running a 4:43 for the first mile split. Sansone kept a strong place at mile 2 splitting 5:02 (9:45). Other ranked teams participating in the meet included #6 Marcus, #7 Flower Mound, and teams receiving votes in the CCCAT poll McKinney Boyd and Amarillo Tascosa.. 3A #1 Sanger did very well in the team competition placing 7th overall beating 5A ranked team Marcus.
