#6: Reed Brown - Southlake Carroll
Reed Brown is not only a top guy in the state of Texas but also one of the top guys on the country! He had a break out track season coming only a second off of breaking the 9-minute barrier in the 3200m (9:00.82). That time placed him second at the state meet. Brown was also second in the 1600m at the state meet where he ran a just off his 4:16.33 PR (4:16.50). His best 5K time is 15:09.09 which he ran at the Texas Distance Festival this past spring. The junior finished 7th at the State Cross Country Meet last year and 6th at the NXN South Regional. Watch for him to make some big moves this XC season.
